I wanted to keep, as much as possible, the same feel between my business cards and my website.I wanted to keep, as much as possible, the same feel between my business cards and my previous website.
( This seemed the logical step, as i used alot of “simulated textures” in it. )
So, i thought nothing better than letterpress on a thick cotton paper to do the trick.
The thing that was annoying me, was to have a blank (white) back as i didn't had (and still don’t have) alot of white space on the site.
On the other hand, i also didn’t want a perfect coverage of the back in one color as it would go against the "worn out" look i use on the website.
Fortunelly for me, letterpressing a large area will naturally provide you with an “imperfect coverage”, that was exactly what i was looking for.
My cards have featured in websites, such as For Print Only or Cardobserver.
